The Tasmanian Employment Networking Service (TENS)

Are you looking to build your local professional network to enhance your employability in Tasmania?

The Tasmanian Employment Networking Service (TENS) provides assistance to skilled tradespeople as well as people seeking employment in construction, engineering, information and communication technology (ICT), health and hospitality related fields by connecting them with relevant industry and business contacts. The service is free and open to people from all geographical locations who are eligible to work in Australia and interested in finding employment in Tasmania.

Please note that TENS is not an employment placement service. The service aims to assist eligible participants that are able to work in Australia at the time of contacting us in their search for employment in Tasmania by building their local network. TENS participants are better able to compete for available jobs through normal processes and achieve positive employment outcomes.

Thank you for your interest in TENS. Due to the broad range of measures put in place by the Australian and Tasmanian governments to manage the public health concerns occasioned by the coronavirus (COVID-19), TENS will be unavailable as from 11:00am, Monday, 23 March 2020. Further information will be provided as they becomes available.
